 Joshua Jett

TEST 3title

Joshua Jett has been djing for the last decade. He first got into the dance music scene while living in Southern California. He would frequent all the super clubs such as Montage, Hedonism, Giant, Spundae, Rubber and After Hour Power. There he got his early musical influences by listening to Carl Cox, Christopher Lawrence, Mauro Picotto, Fergie, and BK  at these venues. This is where he knew that djing was what he wanted to pursue. After years of practice he began playing house parties and clubs up and down the west coast. While visiting Ibizia, Spain he was able to hang behind the decks with Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, and Christopher Lawrence while they played to a packed house of thousands of dance music enthusiasts at Cream at Amnesia. This was the moment that he looks back upon as the turning point of how he viewed dance music. “The love for the music by the crowd was the most amazing thing I had ever witnessed.”

Joshua Jett began honing his skills and creating his own style of techy, tribal, electro house.  His current musical influences include Carl Cox because of his three table skills, Richie Hawtin continues to amaze with the sounds that he can create using traktor and ableton together, and Nicole Moudaber because of her driving techno productions.
