The-Lost-Art.com FTLB Breakbeat / Breaks Soundcloud Showcase 6/17

Welcome to For The Love Of The Beat’s’ (FTLB) Weekly Soundcloud Showcase. The Showcase highlights the editor’s top 10-20 breakbeat tunes found on soundcloud within the previous seven days (sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the availability of quality stuff that week). Included are original productions, official or unofficial remixes re-rubs/edits, or DJ Mixes. Ideally the tunes will have been posted within the past week, however occasionally some older hidden gems are found and are included as well.

Tweaking the format a little bit this week. Instead of a mix of previews and free tracks, there will now be only 1-3 previews of upcoming releases and then the remainder of the tracks posted in the showcase will now ALL be downloadable.

The featured upcoming releases this week are DJ Hero’s- Hit Em Hard,Aggressor, and his remix of Rebel Sketchy’s Acid Drops. These were released last week in the final installment of The Necessary Ingredients series (EP 5) on Ground Level Recordings. Next up is OnDaMike & Josh Chambers’s- To The Beat, which will be released 6/24/2013 on Booty Trax.

Some dope DJ Mixes this week come from: Breaks Inc. bringing you their final installment in the Knock Knock Boom series (Vol.10), DJ XXXclusive’s-Ass Shakin Bass Vol.1, and a Kaleidoscope Music Tribute Mix.

Some Highlights from the free tracks (all 320kbps or WAV) this week are a dope re-fix of the florida breaks classic Christian Michael’s- I Am by Bass-Station, DJ Resist’s 2013 rework of Beachball, Florida Breaks Master Rhythmic Bliss has been kind enough to remaster and post a package of some of his classic tunes including We Ridin Baby, Synthetic Delight, Rock This Place, Tranquilizer, and Close To You. These were all originally released on his Fresh Batch Records label or Solution Records so be sure to stop by and show him some love for these on his soundcloud and facebook. There is also, Vitamin E’s- Dont Worry 808 track, the latest banga from DJ H20- Dont Cha Want (which is also the editor’s #1 pick this week), an original booty bouncer entitled Bubble Butt by 2timesdope, and about 20 more all for free download!
