The-Lost-Art.com BIO: Nexxxus

NEXXXUS 253x175

Nexxxus first exposure to dance music was thru his older sisters and parents who were into everything from Kool and the Gang to Zeppelin! Nexxxus spins all types of styles but EDM is his bizniz in all of its shapes and forms. He came up in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Pterodactyl club, 13:13, Park Elevator and Club Metro is where he did his understudy in dance music as a club kid. His local heroes Drew Dweller (Pterodactyl club) and DJ Andy Kostanses (mythos) were the inspiration he needed to become a DJ.

After Graduating High School Nexxxus moved to Europe while serving in the US. Air Force. He worked all over Germany and Luxembourg tearing up the dance floors with his funky Breaks/Electro and house style.  He held residencies at The Lucky luke, The Dive Night club, (He was also the manager there) and many private parties across the RheinlandPfalz region. Nexxxus spent the rest of his time there dropping laid back Downtempo groovy/jazzy beats. While living in Fayetteville North Carolina in the middle of the 90’s he spun at Club NEO for three years before moving back to Europe again. At NEO’s he spun Goth/Wave/industrial/House/Trance/Electro Breaks and just about anything that had to do with quality music. During all of his Djing history Nexxxus always maintained a full-time job in Avation, Night Club management and third-party Aerial ladder inspections.
Nexxxus, mind you, is laid back & easy-going…. (Definitely not a music snob!)

He loves to give back stating that it is important to teach and pass down the tricks of the trade so future DJ’s can concentrate on fighting the good fight and putting out quality entertainment.

Over the past ten years he has not played out publicly except for a few gigs in the early part of 2001. Nexxxus’s day job kept him traveling all across the US while working with Fire Departments. So Spinning was put to the side. Now that he’s been settled in New England for a few years Nexxxus re-entered the DJ world via the-lost-art.com. He has not crossed over into the digital format yet but is looking forward to it soon. Nothing but the wax he says!  TLA was introduced to him via and old friend (The PhatRabbit) that use he to spin with at the alternative/underground club called NEO’s. He’s getting back into the scene now and is excited to see what the future holds for him. You can always find him bouncing around in chat.

That’s his story and he’s sticking to it! Ha !

If one believes or not in fairy tales, I say to them... Don't think too long. Each and everyday Love can be captured. If not for a moment Love can be held for a lifetime. "The notes to Jiggabot" are the prime example of how our myths & legends stand that inevitable test of time. The world deserves to know that "Fairy Tale" love stories are real. Within the grooves of this EP one can hear & feel that every bit of such a notion is True. James B Boggs
